Innovation

IDMC is dedicated to improving the quality of its current products and promoting innovation through the development of new ones. Central to this commitment is IDMC’s research center, the Centre of Excellence for Design, Application, and Development (CEDAD), which leads the creation of a wide range of new products. These include rotary spray balls, shear mixer blenders, a new line of centrifugal and lobe pumps and valves, bulk butter tub filling machines, portable and containerized bulk milk cooler modules, the Milk-o-Bike mobile milking machine, a biogas slurry extraction and applicator system, and new heat exchanger models.

IDMC has successfully tested and implemented its own UHT sterilizer and achieved a significant milestone with the development of a servo-driven ice-cream cup-filling machine. The IDMC innovation team has also designed fully indigenous milking machines, which have undergone thorough validation for use on dairy farms. Alongside product development, the process lab plays a crucial role in supporting ongoing initiatives by evaluating product performance and functionality.

IDMC has successfully obtained patents for its innovative creations, including a patent for a “HEAT RECOVERY UNIT THAT UTILIZES HEAT FROM THE DISCHARGED REFRIGERANT OF A COMPRESSOR” and another for a “DEVICE THAT MEASURES THE THICKNESS OF LAYERED ICE ON A PIPE, SLUDGE IN A TANK, OR SCALE ON A PIPE.” Through innovation and patent-worthy solutions, IDMC strengthens its position as a leader in technological advancements while providing value-added solutions to its global customers.
